Scaling across multiple realms, Heat has always been a well known system of energy transfer that migrates into colder zones creating entropy in the environments he enters. He has culminated into a representative being in Episode 5 when he decides to step outside the limitations of his own existence. At times, he may be seen as a friend among earthen living organisms however he and Gelo have had a constant love-hate relationship. It is in the summer months that Gelo, like many others, begins to lean more toward the hate side of their relationship.

During the heatwave, he threatens lives with his ultimate plan to dictate the weather patterns on Earth and expel the cold air forces. He starts in the Southeastern region of the United States and hopes to expand from that central hub of activity. Phil and Nikki join Gelo in their first battle against a foe that seeks to remind everyone of his presence and power.
